Gisborne Botanical Gardens is a public garden that dates back to 1874. Today the gardens occupy 5.1 hectares between Aberdeen Road and the Taruheru River. The park features ponds, rose and cactus collections, an aviary, a childrenÔøΩs playground plus many mature trees remaining from the parks early days.
