Bring the family along to a unique celebration of vintage planes and legendary cars. See over $3 million worth of Bentleys and Rolls Royces, along with some of the country’s most historically significant planes, including the Gipsy Moth and Percival Gull that starred in the Jean Batten documentary.
PLUS: Harvards, a collection of Classic Flyers planes, and a thrilling guest appearance by iconic British warbird the Spitfire MH367.
9am - Gates open at Gisborne Airport
9.15am to 9.30am - Car parade along Gladstone Rd to the Airport
10am - Powhiri
11am - Planes start to arrive
12noon - Rolls Royce and Bentley Club departs Gisborne to continue the First Light rally
1pm to 4pm - Air handling displays
$10 Adults, $5 School Children, kids under 5 free.
Admission fee includes entry to the Gisborne Aviation Museum. Snacks available to buy throughout the day.
