31 March 2019
Singer Mere Boynton is joined by classical guitarist Chaitanya Temepara and taonga puoro player Norm Heke in a concert that heralds the beauty of nature, weaving a whariki (woven mat) of waiata (song) in te reo Māori, English and Hebrew.
You can bring your own food to the event, and there will be a well priced bar available for beer and wine at the event. You can not bring alcohol to the event, only buy it onsite.
You can bring chairs, picnic blankets and umbrellas, although we predict there shouldn't be much need for an umbrella at this time of day, unless it rains! Please bring something warm to wear as it can quickly chill down in the evenings.
Eastwoodhill is open all day for picnics. The food and wine tent will open at 4pm and the concert will start at 5.30pm. People will be able to pre-order platters (small or large) with their tickets. You will be able to pick up your platters between 4pm and 5.30pm from then food tent located on the event lawn.
Venue: Eastwoodhilll Arboretum, Wharekopae Road, Ngatapa
