Tuesday 21 November 2017
Presented by Spark NZ, the University of Auckland Faculty of Engineering, and the MacDiarmid Institute
Following last year’s sellout tour, join Nanogirl and Boris (her trusty lab assistant) for science and engineering as you have never seen them before. All new experiments and explosions (lots of explosions) - giant sparks, fireballs, and even a real life bed of nails bring science and engineering to life in the coolest ways possible, right before your eyes.
Nanogirl explains the science behind each experiment in a way that’s fun and easy to understand. We start with a small experiment to explain each idea - often with the help of a volunteer from the audience then take the same principle and turn it up to BIG BANG scale!
Shows are at the Gisborne War Memorial Theatre on Tuesday 21 November 2017 at 5pm (click here for tickets) and 7pm (click here for tickets).
Educational, Entertaining, and Explosions! 5 stars
They promised big bangs, and they delivered. Great to see scientific principles being explained. 5 stars.
