Located right on the river on Ngapakira Road in Ruakituri, the cabin is fully self-contained and has electric power, 2 bunks and a single bed (all linen and towels supplied). Fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, electric jug, toaster, small electric stove with 2 hot plates and an oven, all cooking and eating utensils.
There is an outside fire and outdoor cooking equipment for those who like this style (most women like to try this!). There is also an outside sink bench with cold water on tap for outdoor washing.
There is a separate wash room, outdoor sonar shower bay and outside toilet (keys are located inside the cabin).

Directions to the cabin is via Tiniroto turning off onto Ruakituri Valley Road to the Papuni Road turn off 20km's. Travel along Papuni Road heading towards to the Ngapakira Road turn-off to the Ruakituri Cabin.

The cost for the night is $100 regardless of how many occupants there are.
