On March 16, 2022, the New Zealand government announced the below openings:
- New Zealand's borders will be open to vaccinated Australians from 11.59 pm on 12 April 2022
- Followed by fully vaccinated travellers from visa-waiver countries at 11.59pm on 2 May 2022
