WA165 locomotive comes out of retirement for special steam trips and excursions for you and your families out in the sun. What makes our steam trips so special is the travel across the Gisborne airport runway (the only one in the Southern Hemisphere to do so). The cost for excursions are:

• Adult - $35
• Child - $15 (under 15)
• Infant / No Seat - Free
• Family - $80 (2 adults and 2-3 children take up space of 2 seats)

For booking enquires please contact the Gisborne i-SITE Visitor Information Centre on 06 868 6139. Alternatively, come and see us at the Engine Shed, Corner of Customhouse Street and Awapuni Road. Hours are Thursday and Saturday, 9am – 12pm.
