Cory Scott Fly Fishing Guide Cory Scott Fly Fishing Guide Cory Scott Fly Fishing Guide
Cory Scott is the only licensed professional fly fishing guide in the Tairāwhiti region. With 11 New Zealand championship titles, six World Championship appearances, and over 20 years of guiding experience, Cory brings world-class skill to some of the most remote and rewarding waters in the country.

Based in Gisborne, Cory has unmatched knowledge of the East Coast’s backcountry rivers - wild, unpressured, and teeming with trout. From the legendary catchments of Te Urewera to the rugged runs of the Raukūmara Ranges, these are fisheries few ever reach - and Cory knows every bend, eddy, and rise.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or just stepping into the world of fly fishing, Cory’s grounded approach, competitive edge, and deep local connection make every trip an experience worth casting for.
